The world-famous Sellaronda circuit
The best starting point for your ski day: Jägerhof is situated by one of the ski slopes of the Alta Badia ski resort and Dolomiti Superski circuit. Over 500 kilometres of pistes at all levels of difficulty are waiting for you. And the Sellaronda tour around the Sella massif is an unforgettable holiday experience.
Freeriding on the powder snow
With lots of fresh snow and tranquil slopes, the Mezdì valley right in front our hotel is a Mecca for adventurous freeride skiers. Steep, narrow gullies on the Sella mountainside and nail-biting descents are sure to set your adrenaline rushing.
Ice climbing
Have you packed your ice axe, crampons, rope and helmet? Good, because there are several frozen waterfalls around Colfosco on which you can enjoy an icy climb. Try the ones at the foot of the Sella group or on either side of the Mezdì valley… you won’t regret it!
Panoramic Nordic ski trails
Whether you prefer the skating or classic style, if you are into cross-country skiing you will love the trails of the Alta Badia cross-country ski centre – San Cassiano Armentarola and Corvara-Colfosco. As you glide your way through woods and pastures, you will be accompanied by a jaw-dropping view of the Conturines, Settsass and Lavarella mountains.
Deep into the snow
Discover the wintry beauty of the Dolomites, where silent woods and snow-capped peaks shine under a bright sun. The white expanses shimmer like a sea of crystals as you walk through them on perfectly maintained winter paths.
Unspoilt slopes
Fasten your snowshoes and explore the pristine snowscape along the Mezdì valley, or ski up the Puez peak and then carve your way back downhill on perfect powder snow. From Jägerhof you can take your pick from a variety of fabulous tours.
Sledging for everyone
There’s nothing like the good old-fashioned fun of bolting downhill on a sledge. The Armentara natural toboggan run in La Valle guarantees a great day out for the whole family. You can get there with a leisurely walk to the Armentara meadows. Fun is guaranteed!
Ice rinks and frozen lakes
Ice skating is a great way to make your ski holiday more varied and interesting. There is an indoor ice rink in Corvara where you can skate to your heart’s content, but if you prefer to skate in close contact with nature, you can: the frozen waters of Lake Sompunt offer an idyllic setting for ice skating.
